Just as you clean your home when the seasons change, spring clean your diet with these ultra-light smoothies that will lend a bounty of revitalizing veges and fruit to your health regimen. Get ready to awaken your taste buds this week, and enjoy these refreshing smoothies that are perfect for springtime!

1. Spring Awakening Green Smoothie

This delicious, green smoothie is the perfect blend of of sweet and creamy. The bananas create a thick base, while the celery provides a crisp and invigorating taste. The celery is also known to help aid in digestion and reduce bad cholesterol, and the flax seeds deliver essential omega-3s that assist brain functions.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 oz spring mix
  • 1 banana
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 1 chopped apple
  • 1 tbsp flaxseed
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup ice

Directions:

  • Combine all ingredients and blend on high speed.
  • Blend until smooth and garnish with apple and flaxseed.

2. Spring Rain Anti-Inflammatory Smoothie

This springtime smoothie is light and tasty. It boasts nutrient-dense ingredients including, baby spinach, pear, lime, and cucumber. The cucumbers are anti-inflammatory in nature and help digestion while also hydrating and detoxing dry skin. The lime and fresh dill flavors are balanced out by the sweetness of the pear in this fresh smoothie.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 oz baby spinach
  • 1 chopped cucumber
  • 1 chopped pear
  • 1 juiced lime
  • 2 stemmed sprigs of dill
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup ice

Directions:

  • Combine all ingredients and blend on high speed.
  • Blend until smooth and garnish with chia seeds.

3. Cleansing Cucumber Dill Smoothie

  • 1 english cucumber
  • 5 sprigs of dill
  • 1/2 juiced lemon
  • 1 tbsp pistachio
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
